The Insurer. CNA pioneered the concept of long term care insurance in 1965 with the first nursing home policy, and has continued as a leader in the industry since then. Headquartered in Chicago, it is among the largest insurance organizations in the United States, with a 100+ year legacy built on financial strength, market stability, and commitment to its business partners and customers. As of 12/31/2006, CNA had 12-month revenues of $10 billion and assets of $60.3 billion. The CNA company that underwrites group long term care insurance is Continental Casualty Company.
The Administrator.
